Flu Clinics 2017

The flu vaccination seasons runs from September to March each Autumn/Winter.  In order to be protected it is necessary to be vaccinated annually to protect against new strains of flu.


This year the NHS is offering the vaccine free of charge to the following "at risk of complications" groups:

  • anyone age 65 and over (on 31/3/18)
  • pregnant women
  • children and adults with long term health condition (such as long term heart or respiratory disease)
  • children and adults with weakened immune systems
  • those who are obese
  • children aged two and three plus children in reception class and school years one, two, three and four (although children in school will receive the vaccination at school).
